Raised most of his life in South Eastern Ohio by his mother, Artist & Poet, Carol Sue Langley (deceased).After graduating high school, Langley attended Ohio University for one year to study Social Sciences. He then transferred to a smaller University with a new & budding Performing Arts Program.1995-1997, Langley studied the Arts, emphasizing on Theatre and Music (Voice & Theory). One of his many talented professors was Shirly Crothers, Vocal Director and original voice coach for world renown Opera Singer, Kathleen Battle.1998, Langley received a National Scholarship Award to the American Musical & Dramatic Academy of NYC (AMDA). However, anxious to put his education to the test, he decided to gain some basic experience in front of, as well as behind, the camera.Langley chose to relocate to the Independent Film Capitol, Wilmington, North Carolina (a.k.a. "Wilmywood"). Wilmington houses several Indie-Production companies, as well as, Screen Gem Studios (Dawson's Creek, One Tree Hill, Surface, Matlock, Fire Starter).Since 1999, Langley has earned over a dozen Film/TV credits, several Theatrical performances, and Animation Voice overs, including work for the Cartoon Network.October 2007 - Nominated for Best Actor, for "Love Letter" - Final Cut Film Festival2008 - Langley plays a recovering drug addict, opposite Barbara Allyn Woods, on an episode of One Tree Hill.2009 - Guest Stars in a TV pilot, Rag & Bone, by writer/Director, Richard Leder.2009 - As a writer, Langley is the creator of a new series, One of the Girls, placing as a Quarter Finalist at Scriptapalooza in Hollywood. Langley continues pitching this, and other projects, to interested investors, and network producers.

After three years of extensive radiation and chemotherapy treatments, he has survived in remission for over twenty years and counting.The name 'McArol' is an homage for his late mother, Carol Langley.
